Fall Phenomenon...

May 10th I visited Kubota Gardens, I noticed this beautiful
deep red/pink maple tree next to a pink azalea.

Revisiting the Garden on June 8th, curiously this same maple was a lighter shade of pink.

October 11th, returning to Kubato expecting fall color, this same maple tree's color had turned white/green.
I thought trees showed their best and brightest colors for the fall?

Only in Fremont, the center of the Universe...

Fremont has always been known for the eclectic treasures it has collected over the years.
The statue of Lenin, the Rocket, the topiary dinasour from the Seattle Center, the Rainier Beer "R" from the Brewery, and the seasonally entertaining "Waiting for the Interurban".
But where in the heck did this 7 man pedi-bike come from?
Only in Fremont...

You've heard of a pig pile...

This is a kittie pile...
